The Masonic Values
Your Life Journey
Freemasonry is a living, breathing organization made up of and sustained by the members themselves. It is a tight-knit group of individuals who become comrades in Masonry and life.
What is Freemasonry?
Freemasons are taught to practice charity and to care, not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole through charitable giving and volunteer efforts.
Integrity
The values of Freemasonry are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness. Join with individuals of honor and integrity. Of deep caring with a devotion to helping others. Each with a vow to be the best they can be.

Annual Potjie challenge
Our annual potjie challenge is a great event! Members are organised into teams and tasked with the challenge of creating the best tasting potjie dinner. It is generally a close challenge between the most creative potjie recipes compared to the tried and tested favourites.
What is Freemasonry?
Freemasons look for what connects people and want to pay attention to that and not to what divides them. Freemasonry is a method passed down through the ages to work on one’s own awareness process. With the help of symbols that are related to each other in the context of various rituals, the Know Thyself is contemplated. The goal is to get to know itself better and to determine your own place in relation to yourself, the fellow man, the cosmos, nature or God: the All.
What are YOU doing on your life journey?
Working on yourself and giving this back to society.
In order to mean something to others, you must first work on yourself. Become a more conscious person who knows himself and his principles well. We call this ‘Know Thyself’. Only by working on yourself can you give something back to society
“I cannot thank my freemason brotherin enough for the support they have provided. I can only hope to do the same to everyone else in our community”

Is Freemasonry for me?
Answering this question may be difficult for you if you do not know all aspects of Freemasonry. But on the other hand, that is perhaps the beauty of Freemasonry. Answering the following questions can help you on your way:
- I am interested in ideological matters, spirituality and attitude to life.
- I am looking for a forum that contributes to my personal development.
- I am not doctrinaire and have no extreme or radical views that make dialogue impossible.
